QSound

QSound is a dedicated QL sound card from ABC Elektronic, which includes a parallel printer port with device name PAR_, which can offer unbuffered very fast output or up to 32K buffer and a number of built in basic extensions. It uses the AY-3-9810 three-channel sound chip, and includes interrupt-sound-queues with up to 4K of sound information per channel, envelope control and noise control.

Three inbuilt sound commands provide EXPLODE, BELL and SHOOT sound effects, and the unit is supplied with a demonstration program. The interface can produce sound effects and music.
